What Actually Matters When You Choose a Trading Robot?
Serious question for everyone here: What’s your deciding factor when evaluating an Expert Advisor?
Some traders won’t touch an EA without seeing five years of backtest data. Others want complete transparency in the code logic. Some prioritize drawdown protection above all else. Others need adaptability to changing markets.
And what makes you walk away?
What red flags have you learned to spot? Unrealistic profit claims? Black box systems? Poor risk management? Lack of support?
I’m asking because the gap between what developers think matters and what traders actually need is often huge. Your honest feedback shapes better tools for everyone.
