Our latest update brings a feature that was specifically requested by the Burning Grid user group β solving a real-world problem for traders facing broker-imposed trade limits.
Some brokers limit the number of open positions per symbol β a challenge when running a powerful multi-strategy system like Burning Grid with hundreds of active strategies.
With v2.23, we’ve introduced a new option to help you stay compliant without losing control or edge:
𧱠New: Grid Level Mode β One Position Per Strategy
Burning Grid now includes an alternative execution mode that enforces “one position per strategy” (instead of one per grid level). Here’s what it means:
π§ Why?
-
Burning Grid includes 200+ independent strategies
-
Each strategy can open up to 8 grid levels
-
Thatβs potentially 1,600+ total positions β far beyond some broker limits
π How it works:
-
In Grid Level Mode, when the brokerβs position limit is nearβ¦
-
All existing grid positions from that strategy are closed
-
A single new position is opened, which combines their total lot size
-
Burning Grid internally manages:
β Result: You stay within position limits, while keeping the full logic and discipline of the strategy system intact.
𧩠Who should use this?
This mode is ideal if:
-
Your broker enforces strict limits on open trades
-
You’re running cent accounts or low-leverage setups
-
You want maximum compatibility without sacrificing core performance
